For day 53 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in April, I decided to analyze the song, “People” by Agust D or Suga of BTS. This song serves as a commentary about life and how because we are all different and all have our strengths and flaws, we should find comfort in that difference.

This motif is seen throughout the lyrics. One example is in the chorus where Agust D describes the idea that one should not think too much on whether one is just a passer by or if they hold close to their heart stronger emotions; they should feel free to live that way no matter what. This is a message that I hold close to my heart as I am someone who is very passionate about things and sometimes feels as if I am, “Too much” at times. However reading these lyrics, I can see that It does not matter how I am, I am just a person like everyone else and thus can live as I do. We are all just people here, living as we do; we shouldn’t hold pretentious values over each other and instead just live.
