For day 56 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in April, I decided to analyze, “Just One Day” by BTS. This song describes the feeling of longing for someone that one loves deeply; a feeling that is incredibly relatable.

Diving deeper, this feeling is seen consistently throughout the song with incredibly descriptive lyrics. This is seen in lyrics such as, “I appreciate the masterpiece that is you because your existence alone is art,” which vividly describe that longing and desire for someone that many have experienced throughout life (Verse 1). This feeling is something that many people have felt; the love and desire to be with someone who they love very much. I think it is this universality of the song that helps it be an incredibly relatable one.

All in all, “Just One Day” constantly describes that longing for someone and the hope that one day, they will be able to get to know and love each other as humans in life always yearn to be loved.
