For day 63 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in April, I decided to analyze the song, “Rain” by BTS. This song describes different point of views on a rainy day and the mixture of emotions that rain can bring depending on one’s situation.

This description can be seen in Verse 1, Verse 2, and the Bridge as RM, Suga, and J-Hope rap about their different experiences in the rain. Having multiple perspectives on an aspect of nature really makes an interesting song. I feel as if they are describing how when it rains, countless stories are unfolding. Some are comforted by the rain and some are unsettled. In the grand scheme of things, it feels as if this is BTS’ perspective on the concept of perspective.
