For day 67 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in April, I decided to analyze the song, “HOME” by BTS. This song serves as a beautiful song about BTS longing for someone who has become their home.

Diving deeper into the song, one can see this exact story BTS is trying to tell through their lyrics. For example, they first begin by describing how they have traversed the world and went after their dreams however they feel lonely (Verse 1). This is a common feeling that many people go through in life. Even if one achieves all that they wanted, there will still be a sense of loneliness if they do not have a place to rest peacefully on that journey. BTS expresses this in the chorus and post chorus, describing that they have found someone who can be their home, their resting place, no matter where they are. Home does not have to be a person, it also does not have to be a place. As long as you have something that can bring comfort and rest on your journey, something to return to, that can be your home.
