For day 72 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in April, I decided to analyze the song, “Epiphany” by Jin of BTS. This song serves as a beautiful discovery of self love and learning to appreciate oneself as every aspect of one’s life is what makes someone beautiful.

An example of this motif can be seen in the chorus as Jin sings, “I’m the one I should love in this world…Not so perfect but so beautiful” (Chorus). These lyrics are very important as they highlight the message that even though we all have our flaws, it is those things that make us beautiful. I do like that Jin expresses this message in his song as this is a message that many people need to hear. We should all know that in the end, even if we may dislike things about ourself, all those things make us who we are and we should find the beauty in that.
