For day 78 of analyzing a BTS song every day until their concert in Korea, I decided to analyze the song, “Dionysus” by BTS. This song expresses BTS’ desire for making music and compares it to being drunk on creation. This comparison in particular is referenced by the title as Dionysus is the greek mythological deity of wine and drinking.

Throughout the song, BTS describes their thirst for creation. They sing about how they will create and become drunk on their creation similarly to how one drinks continuously in the chorus. This is an interesting comparison as it shows how addictive creation can be and making music is for BtS. It also can hint at the challenges and negative aspects creation can bring.
