On September 19th, 2015 we saw an 8 year old’s dream of “packing the pantry” for End 68 Hours of Hunger Tampa come true! When Madison found out about this organization, her first question was, “Mommy, what can we do to help?” I threw the ball back in her court and responded by saying, “You tell me what we should do.” Madison came up with the idea to host a Back to School photo shoot. In an exchange for ‘non-perishable’ food, Madison donated her time and talent taking photos of children. We want to thank EVERYONE who helped to make this event a success!
End 68 Hours of Hunger is a private, not-for-profit, effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday afternoon and the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday morning.
