Just a few days after the season premiere of the Steve Harvey Show aired, we had a red carpet watch party to celebrate and to share my big moment with close family and friends! Over sixty people came out to show their love and the majority of the people were red carpet ready! It was a fun night! My buddy, Mr. Bobby Lewis, Feature Reporter, from WTSP News Channel 10, was the MC and he made it fun! I really love sharing the stage with him. Everyone says we play off of each other well. Speaking of which, after the “press conference”, where I answered questions from the audience, we watched his 30 minute On The Road Christmas Special where I took over the show. Before watching my interview with Steve Harvey, we also watched the last On The Road feature Mr. Bobby did of me the day after I returned from Washington, D.C., Madison Takes Pics of POTUS
Another memorable moment was watching the surprise video from my Media Coach, TeeJ Mercer. I told my mom that I wished she could be there, but she lives in Los Angeles, so I know that it was impossible. Watching the video was like she was there in spirit. It made me feel really happy. I even started to dance to “our song”, Shake it Off, the song we danced to in the green room at the Steve Harvey Show. 
There were so many people who had a hand in making this event a success. First and foremost, I am so thankful to my mommy who helps me with everything and works behind the scenes to help make my dreams come true. I am so thankful for my daddy who coordinated the music, videos and slide show. He works so hard to make things special for me. Many thanks to Mrs. Lily for the venue, Mrs. Christal for the pretty centerpieces, Mrs. Jasmine for the yummy food and Mrs. Becca for doing my make up. Thanks to Mrs. Shaunte Langley and Mr. Sergi for capturing my special night on camera! My red carpet event was picture perfect!
